HOGAR

This is my first single released with my artistic and producer name SIETE. This collection includes two songs titled "Hogar" and "Volar." This particular work draws on my personal experience traveling to Berlin, Germany and being exposed to techno and experimental music. This work was recorded and produced at the Catalyst Institute for Creative Arts and Technology. This collection of music offers new ways of making Latin music. Through taking field recordings of Berlin, Germany and implementing my extensive experience performing multiple genres from rancheras, cumbia, mariachi, and flamenco the goal was to fuse all of these styles together to create and explore something new! Through this work, I attempt to bridge the gap between traditional Latin sounds and modern influences, showcasing the beauty of cultural fusion while remaining true to my roots.
